damnit i just tried to put a 6 and a half minute video up and its too big! is there any way to downsize it or any other free video uploading websites that i could use that are madd better?

try google video, the quality isn't that great but it doesn't have a size limit

if you're using windows movie maker just go to help and its under either shortening or splitting clip explains it clearly and easily done. Then you can just save them separately then upload them separately.

Your biggest problem is you are using youtube which sucks (I use it sometimes too). Yeah compress it with a program or spit it up.

google video rapes your video quality, if you're using movie maker, than you need to split the clip up. if you're using a program like premier, save it not as an .AVI, save it as a .mpg or .wmv then bring it into movie maker, save it again as a wmv ( i thnk thats what it usually saves as), this will kill the quality somewhat but make the file alot smaller. then try to upload again. or go brighcove, i think that the max size is bigger, and it doesnt sacrifice quality as much.
