it depends on how your bindings are setup, if your dead center than yes, you want to lock in between both and give a little bit of pressure and keep your weight centered , but it all depends of the type of rail/box

but you know what sucks when ur going backside on a like a dfd and on going into the flat part u catch ur edge and nail ur ass/tailbone. goddamn that hurts
no idk if its front/backside
but when u first hit the kink and hit ur ass on the end of the kink going into the down
id have to see like a vid cause so much can go wrong, try not corking as much, practice on tramps
^ i find it easiest to do it out of a tail slide if that helps. but other than that, i just focus on looking over my shoulder.
Twist your upper body as you slide so at the end of the box you have all of the tourqe stored in your upper body... then you just jump, uncoil with your hips and look towards the spin.
