So I ordered a new setup from my shop today. I got 161 Anthems with Salmons Z12 Ti 100s. I wanted looks but these were super light. I'm like 5'10 and 145 pounds. For park I feel like 171 was a little too unwieldy for my style. I ski mostly park but I like groomers and steeper terrain occasionally. I have 159 2004 Fuji's now mounted at like -3CM. Do you think I'll be able to get to a dead center ski for all mountain (east coast with the occasional Colorado trip)? What do you guys think about this binding and the combo of these with the Anthems?
thats not his question but i agree with you. and you should be fine with center itll feel wierd at first but youll get used to it fast if your a good skier
ha im 6-2' 210 and ride 177's your fine... if you liek teh set up thats what matters, if you cuurently rid and knwo what you like dont let anyone tell you that you need bigger skis (but you do)
You did go too small man, I suggest you at least up it to the 171's. The centermount reallllly makes them seem alot shorter. But it isnt really my place to tell you what to do.
Thanks for the input. I'm going to sick with the 161s though. I always have skiied a little smaller because I'm tall but i weigh the same as someone 3 inches smaller than me. 10cm=3inches, it seems to work out. I mean the only think that I can say in my defense is that the skis don't ski different because of my height but my weight. Either way I'm going to go with the 161's since that's how I like to ski.
