well for one i believe the moships are 97 under foot while the anthems are 93. the anthems are symmetrical 119-93-119 and have identical flex foward and backwards. the motherships are more of a directional ski and a quite a bit stiffer than the anthems, and geared more toward charging than freestyle or park.
this is off the top of my head so if im wrong, anybody correct me

Check it the Mothership's are 97mm underfoot in the 182 version, they are 120-90-110 mm in the 172 and 162 you have 172. So ya the dimensions aren't to different except the tail but still I think it will make a huge difference. And like thefilmerguy said the motherships are directional and have different flex patterns in the tip (softer) and tail (harder). These are two completely different skis. The Anthem's, because they are symetrical flex and dimensions are set up to be a center mounted ski. The Mothership's have a recommended mount that is like 7cm from center or something. I mounted my 182 mothership's at like 4cm back from center and they rip everywhere. I have not tried the Anthem's they look sick though. I think they should have an option to have early rise like the EP's that would make them really fun and buttery in the park. So in short I think the anthem's are more park specific and the motherships are more all mountain and pow.
note: I'm referring to the 06' mothership's which are like the 05' flight's no metal matrix so they are softer and lighter.
