Ok, well I am living in Utah and skiing Alta and the Canyons next semester. So, I have some old park skis and I recently picked up some 06/07 185 ARV's over the summer. The problem is I now weigh 210lbs. and am 6' 2''. Will I just over power my ARV's? I want these to be my all mtn./pow skis. If I am going to overpower my ARV's what skis should I get? I have been looking at line prophet 100's, seths, and maybe scratch bc wrs...
Seems to me like youd be right on the cusp...if you were going to get new skis, i would suggest either a 189 something, maybe a hellbent/seth/brigade...there are plenty others out there that i didnt mention, but those are just some off the top of my head. It really depends on if you like a shorter ski or a longer ski in the pow.
if you're a strong/aggressive skier, then yes you will.
189 seths, 185 brigades or 186 prophet 100s (softest -> stiffest) would be much more suitable.
depending on what your other ski is, you could even go bigger, 186 rossi steeze springing to mind here (110 underfoot)
