I used to hate marker but due to a major binding issue 4 days ago I as forced itno purchasing new bindings. The guy was pushing salomons on me and rossi axials but I swore to never ever use those to brands ever again due to problems. So I checked out the jesters and bought them. Here is a quick to days of skiing on them review.
First off the binding looks amazing, but wo cares. It is by far the lightest binding I have ever used. All the weight is in the heal, the toe piece weighs nothing. This is great for swing weight or whatever. Spinning and ollieing and everything felt so smooth and easy with them, just so much lighter than what I was used to. Also the way the binding is set up you boot is almost flush against the ski. An awesome feature with rails. Made it seem easier and more comfortable. the binding has a din range from 6-16 and I released going switch and the brakes were fine, no snaps or other crap that happened consistantly with my axials.
I personally love the jester, but only 2 days on them and a crappy review. They are also like $350 so that blows but I needed a binding that would actually work
