Snow in aspen

i'm heading to aspen for the first week of january, what are the conditions generally like around that time of year?

i think they are really good. its right about the time the park is prime, they had a couploe months to get snow, and they just put it all together

Early January was great last year, but that was last year. So far we have had a couple of early season storms, but that snow is long gone. Everyone keeps saying it is going to be a dry winter, but I don't believe them. By January we should have plenty of park terrain to ski even if the backcountry stuff is sketchy. It has been cold recently so they are making snow.

dude tis will bee sick probaly fresh when ur there and the park will be really good proablly at the prime of the season to get ready for the x games
