so it used to be that if you wanted to post a clickable link in any of the forums, you just pasted it in the message box and *bam* it works. why cant i do that anymore??? its damn annoying. I'm using opera web browser if that makes any difference...
opera doesnt have that fancy editor thing like you see when you use IE or firefox... at the top of the messge window it just says :"Your web browser does not support WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) editable web content. Please consider upgrading to Mozilla (v1.3 or newer), Mozilla Firefox (v0.7 or newer), Netscape (v7.1 or newer) or Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows (v4.0 or newer)."
IMO its an improved version of firefox, tabbed browsing is slicker, you can use mouse commands without downloading plugins which makes a HUGE difference. im really used to it, and to be honest i dont really like firefox all that much.
also when you open Opera all your tabs are right where you left them when you closed the browser. so you dont need a homepage because you start where you left off.
With the fancy editor you have the option of making a link, but you've got to click the button and input the link. makes it so that its got a mouseover popup and everything, which is cool. There's advantages and disadvantages to the editor, but its totally personal preference. You can easily turn it off in your account settings!
