whats your current technique? just work on spreading your body to slow down your spin and anticipating or spotting your landing.

i used to have that problem and its all in the takeoff. wind up less and dont spin as hard. the speed of your spin can pretty much be controlled by your head.

i find that if you ski on the east coast you spin 4 thousand times faster then anyone in the west. resulting in wicked high spin counts with little to no style. kids throwing 9s on 35 foot jumps and such. so unless youre having trouble spinning a 5 i suggest you stop spinning so fast. that way you wont over rotate.

ya spin with your shoulders instead of your arms maybe. other than that i think it just takes time. try doing some spins and in the air practice slowing down your spins and then speeding them up to get used to it.

wow....someone is an ass about east vs. west Kids on the east can have just as much style as people on the west. back to the point of this thread though... Set you spin a little lighter, if your just goin for a 3 or so off a jump around 20 feet you dont have to set so much with your arms or body, just lightly go into it and spot your landing around 180, you should be able to control your spin right

focus more on spotting ur landing, the only reason u are over rotating is u are spinning until you land.
pretty much you have to control everything.
dont say "k im gonna throw a 5 and chuck and maybe i get enough air that i will keep going."
everything is split second decisions. just practice. nothing else will help you all that much
