New skis

I'm thinking about switching from snowboard to freestyle skiing and would like to hook myself up with some very decent skis. I'm for some very light skis. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on what skis I could get. ThAnKs

light skis usually are less durable, so watch out


and hight, weight, location, all would help

well id say line invaders..they are cheap and 100% symmetric..ultra light weight and really nice if you ski switch alot..the only downside is they arent the most durable ski

Most Salomon skis, especially the park ones like the Thruster and Spk are very light, and Head JO pro are a very light and sick ski. ^Public Enemies^ are pretty heavy, at least the ones I have. I here Moment skis are also ridiculously light and a very core company, so they are definitely worth checking out.

K2 of salomon both durable. Salomons are probably lighter

Armadas I hear are pretty light, and also durable. I think the Pipe cleaners would probably be the lightest and they have a fast race base. I really am going to recommend the Head Jon Olsson pro models though, because they are very light and head is known for making pretty bombproof skis. plus they ahve sexy graphics.

It kinda depends on how hard youre hitting the park. If you're a good skier and hit the park hard you can't beat the Ar6 which is what im skiing this year. But I think the Line invader is a great ski for just starting out and since you'll be doing 90% park they'll be perfect and they're super light weight. I got a buddy who rides for Line who highly reccomends them.

I ride invaders in the park and love them.  I think they would be great for somebody new on skis and new in the park.  The only downside is that you really need to stick you landings on big air because of the softness of the flex - a little backseat and you will wash out where you might recover with a stiffer tail.  Despite this, I really like the soft flex for jibbing and playing around.

Go for the Armada Pipe Cleaners their light and durable, they also have a lot of pop.

If your a snowboarder go for the Elizabeths there light buttery and EP says they ride like a snowboard.

Lizzies are sick....but they are real wide for park, even if thats what pollard uses them for. They would be hard to spin onto rails, but would have way more stability. Plus he's looking for something really light, he said and i can't picture a ski designed for park abuse with ath much underfoot being as light as Pipe Cleaners, Thrusters or Jon Olssons.
