Whats the Whistler Park status?

Hows the early season park looking? Since limited runs are open at Whistler im sure every square inch of poweder has been harrased by the locals lol so all there is, is jump straight to the park, is it worth coming over from the island for yet??

1 tiny jump, 2 or 3 flat boxes, 2 picnic table boxes, one small down rail...as of sunday at least.

its gay right now...why would you ski park first thing in the year??? hit up the trees. sooo fun, so mnay pillows, soo little snow, its way more challenging.    The whistler park is really only good way later in the season when they got both lines and some wierd fun fuck around shit set up.

They were blowing snow in the HL park today, but otherwise there is absolutely nothing there. Half a dozen or so rails in the blue park and one small hip at the top, and a small table near the middle. That's it.

I remember when they were making the dirt jumps in the HL park and they claimed they could open the park with only a foot of snow.
I also remember thinking, hmm that sounds lke toad shit.

ya i rode whist on sat and blackcomb on sun and whistler is much sicker at the moment its just gay how much busier whist is than blackcomb

on opening day that had a box, a spin ( that was built so badly, like you could hit it huge but there is no landing so you have to go like 5km/h....   a small table, another box, a picnic table, a mellow battle ship, a c box and another super small spin off the pipe entrance.     The black park had nothing in it but the tables setups were sick and you could get a fair amount of air just by popping off them.   its probably all changed now.

When I first read your post, it sounded like you stopped skiing and started snowboarding because you broke some skis.

Yeah I saw that one, maybe saw you on it. Your setup?

It's like a step over kinda thing, about 20 feet or so I think.
And it's just rated L, so it's open to public.

Thanks , on their website they said they about 10 features on whistler and 10 on blackcomb. hopefully they will have a couple more jumps set up by saturday
