Game of S.K.I anyone?

ok, well you know like in basketball, you play horse and pig and hwatnot?  how bout we do a game with the same concept here on NS?  on pinkbike forums they do the same.  you would simply make a title saying SKI level 3 or w/e and wed have to find a way on ranking people.  but then you hav elets say a week to post up a trick in video forum to the thread and have to be able to do the trick against your challenger(s).   so what do yyou guys say?  sound liek something fun NS should start doing?

does it have to be a particular trick, and the person who gets the letter, did the trick with less steeze/ was smaller?

well, lets say you and i were playing against eachother.  Lets say I just started and said my trcik will be a switchup on a flat rail.  then I post the vid showing proof and you have to do the same trick as me.  but i dont think wed take into acct of who does it better, like if you do a totally sick one then it doesnt mean i get  aletter, it just means you dont.  and do you think we have to say the trick before we post? like previous day so we have to go out and get new footy instead just takin out clips from old vids or what?

yea maybe not.  but when my resort officially opens friday and they get more and more stuff setup through the season and ohters resorts too i think we should give it a try.

yea that would be cool..i dont think it should matter whose is better cuz in b-ball if one person gets a swish and the other hits the rim 3 times and drops in it still counts

its a sweet idea but the only problem is that theres not enought weeks in a year.  most resorts are only open for like 4-5 monthths so theres 16-20 weeks and that would be like one game preetty much.

Me and my friend wanted to have a game like that on are backyard setup but to make it longer you could call it snow  or jibbing

Awesome concept. Someone tried doing something like it with tricks on the trampoline during the boring hours of summer NS. It worked alright, it just needs participation.

Or you could just play follow the leader. Pretty self explainatory, but still would be fun.

thats a good idea. I do that with my friends sometimes but its much easier when ur skiing with someone. Its  a lot of work to tape edit and post. seems like it would be really slow.

i made a pretty sweet video this past winter of an 8 person s-k-i tournament that i'll try to get online.  everyone put in $5; the winner got $30 and second got $10.  s-k-i is the best game ever.

A game of "skate" on skis is super fun. I think peace coast might have an jam at a mountain with a game of "Jib" soon.

id ay as long as they both do it, then it counts and the person who is setting does another trick. whocares who has more steeze as long as they both do it. But yeah you should make a cult and then the threads could be like Skier 1 VS skier 2 and they would play in their respective threads.

its a sweet idea, and i am lookin forward to doin it. have already been talking to my friends about playing pig when we get to the mountain. only problem with haveing it on ns is the lack of immediacy. what i mean, is that when you play against people who are there, you get one shot. whereas in this, you get a week to try the trick. if you tried hard enough, you could go from a 3 to a sw 7 in a week. now that i've written that, its no bad thing, it would be further inspiration for the other guy to progress.
