Dalbello Rampage???

I was wondering whether or not i should get the Dalbello Rampage....It looks like a nice boot...Obviously performs well since Tanner Hall designed it.....And i tried it on and it fits beautifully.....So i was wondering if this boot has ANY drawbacks????Or if anyone had any personal opinions about the boot????

I am contemplating getting the dalbello krypton Pro, but I heard that the rampages aren't warm at all... then again, I've never tried them, so that that for what it's worth.

Okay bro, first of all you should have used the searchbar because there are tons of identical threads that can answer your questions.  Search for "Dalbello Rampage" and I am sure you can find all your information.

I sort of got sold on a pair and now im regretting it. I think i dont really like mine because i have a wide foot and they are designed for narrower feet. However they have completely elimintated shin bang for me and unlike the spk still give you the option of skiing out of the park. They are plentywarm if worn with a wool sock and if you gt the cushy boot beds they absorb short pretty well. I added a Gel liner thing to mine and that also helped for impact cusioning. My biggest complaint is the awful toe bang i get. But other than that they preform pretty well.

If they fit you, why would there be any draw backs? And that stuff about them not being warm isn't true. If your in 0 to -6 on average you should be fine with just one pair of normal ski socks.

Pros:
-Good design, center buckle hold heel back.
-Thick strap helps eliminate a bulk of the shinbang that you would get.
-VERY VERY customizable
-Lots of room for punching, stretching, ect.

Cons:
-Tend to get sorta cold in the toe area after a few hours.
The stock liner(if not the ID) tends to get "packed out" after about half the season, causing some discomfort.


ALL IN ALL, I would recommend this boot to anyone whose foot fits into it correctly. If you tend to have complaints after a while, there are always footbed, booster strap, liner, tongue, canting options that can make a whole world of a difference. There is no price you can put on boots and the comfort that they can bring.

Ya, i have a narrow foot and it doesn't seem like it could fit any better.....
Sweet, im totally convinced now....you guys rock...and about the warmth thing.....ill just wear heavy socks......

Doesn't that three buckle design look sweet?

Get the kyrpton cross, such a better option. The rampages are too flexy.

oh i know..I'm just commenting on how influential this site is.

If everyone had have said "Get SPK's" - he probably would have thought twice about buying Kryptons

Im over it. Let him buy "cool" boots. Ive been preaching my boot story for months now, and only a select few have taken what I said and put it into use. If they wont listen to me, perhaps they will listen to the aching and blistered feet.

I will still help those that have ligimate cases (Bryce trying to rid of his shin problems, the common sizing questions, and liner issues), its the "Which boots should I order online without trying them on" threads that Ive had enough with.

i had thought about the SPks but my boot guy i go to said they were super soft and could only be use din the park and pipe.....NOWHERE else.....i want that freedom to go where ever i want.....and about foot arch problems...get after market soles...like superfeet....i have them ...they're great

uhhh last i checked he said the Rampages fit good and he was just asking around if there was anything bad about them or any reason he shouldn't buy them....

if they are too flexy just put in the stiffeners in. thats what i did and now they are money.

My crosses can be the same flex as the rampages, and they come with a better liner, which is why i bought them.

I wasnt refering to this thread, I was talking about the countless threads about "ZOMG SPK'z" and the new "Dalbello Il Moros theyre so wicked!!!111!!" Like I said, legitimate cases like this one, I will offer my help. To the others, they can moan in agony wearing their popular boots.

i have a real narrow foot,but i still find the rampages too wide, and i find them too stiff too, i wiegh 125 pounds, is there any way to soften them? and make them fit more snug? im thinkin of sellin them and going back to my old green salomon 1080s, which are too smalll but ski better, altthough my toes kill me eevry day after skiing them
