is it good? and should i put diagnal supports inbetween the holes? cuz i have a feeling that the whole top part can collapse forward once i hit it...

i dont think you will need any more supports, maybe just a couple of diagnal pieces from the end of the leg to the bottom of the 2x4 for side support... if that makes sense

my friend has three of these set ups. theyve started falling apart but if you build them solid out of decent wood and do a good job of nailing and stuff you should be ok for a few seasons

I'd put at least a couple crossbars in there to give it some horizontal stability.

you need to put supports in between each space, going up at an angle, 2 to a space, or else it will break.  happened to my rail

ill screw up screws from the bottom and put botls at the very end of the pvc pipes.

and ya i think im gonna put supports in the square spaces and supports for horizontal support

Mine looks almost identical to that. I didn't need the diagonal supports but i used quite a bit of wood on the vertical supports so it was sturdy enough.

loks pretty legit. id put diagnol supports at the first and last holes cause thats where the most motion is. if that makes any sense.

the ones going across for so it doesnt fall to the side are 2 ft long.
the whole thing is 12 ft
the verticle supports are 1 ft
its a total of 19 inches high

yes, you sould put cross supports in. i just made a rail recently, kind of like what yours will be but its an up rail. heres the link

seems like alot of wood to me. i just have real simple, two 2x4s underneath the pipes, and drill holes in the side of the pvc so it doesnt effect sliding and then pwer drill some screws straigh through to the wood, then two 2x4 beems extending down from the 2x4s supporting the frame and a couple palnks perpendicular for sideways support. cheap light solid, mines survived 3 years

that looks good but definitely go for the diagonal supports. try to use steel bolts in key spots if you have them, especailly when your attaching the pvc to the top. i did that with mine and its lasted a long time and stood a lot of beatings.

yeah you should putt the diagonal support in their even if it isn't necessary it wouldn't hurt

yeah, but diagonal supports, if only in the end segments. It will be more solid that way. Also, use screws instead of nails if you can, because they won't tear out too easily and can amke it tighter.

Here is a suggestion with PVC, get a wooden doowel to go inside the pipe, this will prevent if from shattering after a long period of wear. just to increase the longevity, you dont have to do it though

i know your from the burgh, cause your in the springs cult.  this summer i spent three days scouring allegheny county for a hardware store that sold decent diameter pvc piping longer than 10 feet.  good luck.
