Alcohol VS. Weed

So I know there's probably a few threads like this but I need answers soon.

I am going to stop drinking or blazing. Which should it be?
Pros and Cons of each? Tell me what you think and help me decide.

You guys keep saying that weed is more expensive than drinking... how much do you pay for your weed? I know your booze is a lot cheaper than ours here in Canada, but how much is your weed?

man theres no need to stop either unless you have some health issue either of them has thier advantages and disadvanages. if you do them in moderation teres no need to stop either

yeah you'll never die from overdosing on weed, but you'll sure kill yourself drinking much more easily. long term affects.... if you smoke as much as i do... and dont plan on quitting ever, a possiblity for some minor health issues down the road, marijuana has never been proven to cause lung cancer, everrrrr. ok so you're looking a possiblity for developing asthma or some something vs. alcohol that will surely give you liver problems, you'll develope high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes, and alcoholism.... way more detrimental on the day to day basis... teach yourself to do shit when you smoke, plan on quitting sometime during college or soon thereafter, shit whenever you want... infact, do whatever you want.

well, alcohol is probably a lot more destructive to your daily life than weed. but weed is illegal, and stays in your system longer than alcohol, so who knows man.

getting drunk is expensive when it costs 25$ for a 12 beers...

my advice: quit both.  im a junior in high school, and i used to blaze and do alot of other drugs, but never drank.  All of my friends who drink get caught literally every week and one almost died with a BAC of .32.  Theres just no reason when your this young to be fucking your life up with drinking and smoking.  I definately lost alot by smoking (my grades are shit compared what they used to be) and because i used to smoke, i went on to other drugs like shrooms, pills, etc.  This sounds kinda wierd, but when i was tripping on shrooms, i saw papa smurf in my room and he told me that i was ruining my life, so i quit.  It was hard to stop smoking pot at first, but its been months since ive touched any drugs, and i feel alot better about my life now.

 I can get a 24 for 24... but I can also get a quarter for 36... So  weed is still cheaper.

Around me drinking is a little cheaper than smoking. The beer we usually buy is like 13 for a case, but usually you can just go to most parties and pay $5 for all the beer you can drink. Bud around me is on average $20 for an eighth, so it's a little most expensive, but not too much if your friends chip in part. But the guy I buy from has good weed IMO, so its worth the extra $$.

it also depends on your personality. If you enjoy partying and are more extroverted, id say keep the alcohol. If you are more down with the mellow, low key scene, and have more of an introverted personality, weed is for you. I sure you know this already, but it just kind of puts stuff in perspective.

I am much more extroverted and enjoy large gatherings, SO i personally would give up ganj before alc.

I'm in the same position now dude.  College freedoms is taking a toll on my good conscience and weed and booze are starting to come before class.  As earlier in the day.  Bad news.  I am trying hard to wrestle with the idea of stopping to blaze.  I think that eliminating smoking will hopefully give me a lot of energy, it will definitely make me brighter and whittier, even stopping a week makes me much quicker.  So as hard as it is to do, after ski season I may have to lay off Mary-Jane for a little.

Thats true but I kinda need a balance. like sometimes I just feel like I need to be more mellow and I like that but then if I smoke way too much I just go out and get loose. Or as I like to say when your high you get small but when your drunk you get big.

drinking every once in a while has no negative health effects on you whatsoever. Of course if you're getting mad drunk every day youll eventually get  liver problems but I'm  sure this isnt the case here

i've only threw up once from smoking
to put it simply we for some goddamn stupid reason were trying to set some dumb record and we smoked way too much pot, close to a half o, for 3 ppl. it was a waste of weed, and all it did was make me dehydrated so i puked, and it was so much that we pretty much smoked ourselves sober.
