Alcohol VS. Weed

So I know there's probably a few threads like this but I need answers soon.

I am going to stop drinking or blazing. Which should it be?
Pros and Cons of each? Tell me what you think and help me decide.

Both.  gets so crazy, at least for me. Because when I'm drunk I do crazy stuff, but when I'm high I laugh at everytihng and think of crazy stuff.  So now I can think of crazy stuff and laugh a lot while doing all the crazy stuff, dunno if it made sense. 

So do both!

Give us some back round info, or have you tried either of them?
Just do which one makes you happy, to even choose to do drugs at all.

yeah if you're in college. you'll stop smoking and drink twice as much and you'll stop doin well in class if you even did well in the first place no offense im just assumin. but yeah dont stop smokin, thats like cuttin your balls off. just stop drinking otherwise if you quit weed and keep to drinking, it'll really effect your grades for the worse. i say this all cuz i stopped drinking for the most part and now i smoke just as much and its just better. but yeah.... you could stop both and go straight edge, but i am sitting next to my buddy that doesnt do either... and hes lame... so yeah just dont be lame.

i def think alc is worse but smoking weeed when your a kid can effect you. i remember all of the kids who started smoking reefer when they were in middle school and now they are all paranoid and shit. cut out both, just do it on special occasions.

oh well shit, if you're still in highschool. you shouldn't be doing that much of that kinda shit anyways. but if you're in college and got your shit together. alc is definitely more detrimental to your health and your school work. but yeah, agreed.

I'm in grade 10, 15 years old. I haven't drank for like 2 months, which I think is pretty good. I do blaze at the most 3 times a week, usually only once though. And I'm on a 2 week break right now...

I don't know if there have been any studies done on the long term effects of weed, but Alcohol can really fuck you up. When I decided it was time to grow up and cut back and focus on things that were important to me, drinking was the natural choice to give up. When i get drunk, I get drunk Its the Bishop's way. And that means that I lose two days of being efficiantly  productive. One for the drinking, and one for the hangover... and when party nights at your school are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and in my department Sunday... well, you can see why I cut back on drinking.

I've always had one rule of thumb when it comes to altering my consciousness. Its fine, as long as I don't let it get in the way of my studies. I usually don't usualy smoke until im done everything else, later at night, and I fell fine the next day, so I can still get stuff done. I don't lose out on productivity, but I still get to relax and have a good time with friends.

ive been smoking everyday for the past 3 years about and im now a senior in highschool...say whatever you want about that...anyway smoking dosnt effect your grades and shit if you dont let it.just teach yourself to do shit when your high and you will be fine..the only trouble weed has ever got me in was with the cops and that was only once..we have all been there for one reason or another...so just keep smokin but be mature about it and dont let it take over

I kind of came to the same choice as you, and alcohol was an easy pick. Alcohol is a very social thing, weed you get high and sit there. Sure you can get way more fucked up from alcohol but thats why you have to moderate. Plus alcohol is much cheaper than weed.

I really should say that since you are 15 you shouldn't really be doing either, but since you're already doing them why bother lecturing. So I'll give my opinion on the situation.

Does your school drug test? If so, then I'd cut out smoking. I smoke only every two weeks or so. They drug test on 2 week intervals so I know I have a week or so before I have to stop so I can pass a drug test. But alcohol  is easier to conceal, if you are smart, so it's easier to get away with in a school that drug tests.

But if that's not the case then I'd have to say just take each in moderation. Some people fail to realize that both have advantages and disadvantages in certain situations. Like Evan said, drinking is more social so save that for bigger parties. Smoking is for more calm, chill situations with just a few close friends. So use both, just at the right times.

*Bi-monthly. It's a public school in SE indiana. It's only about 1600 kids, and its not everyone tested, just random people from a pool. If you drive or play a sport then you are in the pool. It's kind of a joke at my school because even if you get caught you don't get in trouble, you just get a lot of counseling. Plus I swear it isn't random and they test people they think will pass to make the school look good. And since I'm a straight A student in varsity athletics, they wouldn't think I would do those bad things. Haha. So I take a lot of caution, so people I don't want to know about the things I do find out.

Go with weed fur sure. Weed is so much more satisfying and healthy. Drinking just makes you act stupid while weed puts you more into a "medatative state" as Bob Marley said.

 The reason why quitting drinking is better is beacuse people usually decide to  smoke WHEN they're drunk, even if they dont even smoke...so stop drinking

idk like i quit smoking becuase i get so fuckin lazy from it and i get paranoid easely over the few days after i smoke (eh i just react badly too it)

and i drink occasionally but its usually a once monthly thing and i really dont get bad hangovers at all

so it all depends on who you are and how you react to each

i dunno, wait a year maybe, go kinda straigh edge ish until then....

but in my opinion:

alcohol kills your liver and leaves you with a mean hang-over
reefer could eventually (after chronic chronic smoking) lead to mental illness. whether this has been proven or not, i'd say just knock back a few brews and taker' easy for a bit.

depends on your reasonings. If you were worried about getting caught id say drinking, because it is more socially acceptable. normally id say stick with the green though, if it were for health reasons.
