Wrist guard??

does anyone here wear skating type wrist guards when they ski to prevent against broken wrists? i was thninking of doing it this year just to prevent against breaking a wrist and not being able to ski for a while.

ive done it once, but the wrist was already hurt so this was just to limit the possibiliity of it geting hurt again

I do occaisonally if im doing urbans, rails, or handplants.  BTW you can ski on a broken wrist no problem...

Pro skiier John Strenio wears a wrist guard all the time. It helps him because he has broken his wrists a few times while doing double flips.

I heard John Strenio broke his wrist before he learned double flips?

Maybe that's why he doesn't have any shots with poles in the new mainpage article?

theres no reason to skiing, the falling is not onto your wrists... as for snowboards, thats another story.

i have occasionally
ive broken my wrists 5 times playing goalie in soccer

i always wear them when recovering, they help a lottttt
id definitely recommend them if your recovering from a wrist injury
