Replying to Car trouble

so the subaru cult isnt very active so i gotta bring this here. well heres the problem i got a 97 subaru legacy l and for some reason the car over heats like a mofo. so i was checking and its an electric fan so no fan belt. but while i was driving i saw the heat thing go way up so naturally i turned the heat on fan full and i noticed no hot air came out of the vents which is kinda weird considering the engine was hot as hell. any one got any ideas?
