Ti vs non Ti Rossi Bindings?

so the TI stands for titanium right? those will be stronger and lighter?  I'm asking because I have the option of buying the plain rossi scratch 120's way cheaper than I can find the ti ones. do i dish out the extra cash or will it not matter?

It replaces the stainless pieces with titanium & replaces the plastic pieces with a high grade polycarbonate I believe.

if your thrashing them in the park maybe.  how much are you talking?  I don't know what the construction of the jibs are but from what i can tell they are lighter than my regular 12s.  and they have that 3mm cushion.  if that actually does a damn thing at all..

well i was going to buy from REI and get the 140 ti and the 120 non ti.  that gives me a 10% discount off the total order and i can do a store pickup so I'm paying 200 for the 140's and 160 for the 120's.  So I save 40 bucks.  if I want to get hte 120 ti's I need to go to a different store and I lose the 10% discount which is applied to BOTH at REI (only if you buy more than one ski product, bindings or skis). so yea, I lose about $50 to get the 120 ti.

you weigh 180 so go with the 140's.  you'll use that extra din space and they are built stronger on that basis as well.

no, even at 180lbs it still depends on how big you go/how aggressive you are and you're bsl. do not think that for someone your size that you HAVE to get the 140s, but you certainly could if that's how you ski.

and you can find much better prices for any of those bindings online.

can you find anywhere that has rossi 140 ti's under 225? I think I'm just going to get 140 tis if i can find them cheaper

I'm 6'4/185lbs. I normally ski at about 13 in the park but I use the basic PX12 on 10-11 for my pure rail ski and they're fine. So it depends what you're doing.

AT your size, you need the TI. Unless you want the  heelpiece snapping.
