Itching

okay so i just broke my arm nd got a cast two days ago, it goes up to my shoulder. This ithcing iss drving me insane i cant take six weeks of this; same spot for a whole day ive tried everything that i could find but the only thing that seems to give me any relief is banging it which only works for about one second then it comes back. so my question is, any ideas?

it wont work it goes up to my shoulder, it hass to be bendy because the side on my hand is too tight to fit anything and no bendy ruler doesnt work, is there some kind of medical thing

Unravel a coat hanger and use that. That's what I used when I broke my wrist.

The low E-string of a guitar. If you can get it all the way through you can pull it back and forth over the itch.
I guess a rope would probably work to.

Sorry, but you shouldnt scratch it, I know i sound like an ass, but you can get nasty infections under the cast if u do

yeah you stole my idea. but for sure dont scratch it. if you break the skin youll get the gorssest worst smelling piece of flesh ever. and then if it swells like most infections youll get compartment syndrome and then your tissue will die and then youre more fucked then you were when you started. believe me after over 3 months total time that ive been in a hard cast i know my shit.
