they're both really different skis. depends on what you do on the mountain.
I have some chronics and I'm not very happy with the stiffness and weight, but some people like a solid ski.
I'd opt for the anthems. they just look more fun to ride

depends on what you want them to do and where you skis...anthem's are a park ski whereas the chronic is more of a all mountain ski

I got chronic wides from 05-06, and I love them. The invaders were way too soft for my taste...but yeah it is a difference if you like a stiff or soft ski, whether you want to butter around the mountain or ski about everything.
