Hey, does anyone have a coolsat?? My parents picked one up and they are trying to get me to hook it up for them, but I have never done it before.  Can anyone help me at all?? I have the 6100 series.  Thanks

man your so lucky i saw this. ok go on a f2atv.com register for the forums, go on the forums, there is like a coolsat forum with every model and it should have like all the info and files you need to update and shit.

its free tv. basically you buy a receiver and satellite dish and you steal signals so you can watch all the american/canadian channels that you want including porn and pay per view for no cost except buying the receiver and dish. yes its stealing and its illegal in some way.

it only lets you "steal" the unencrypted channels, which I doubt are any of the good ones.

uh no? you can get every single american channel you can think of. you can get mtv, mtv2, fuse, all the news, hbo, showtime, discovery, history, think of any channel, you can get it. theres even have ten and playboy. plus i have all the ppv channels so i get to watch sports events for free, and movies.

does this still exist? we're about to have to move apartments before the season starts and im interested in getting this if it's still around cause the girl who used to live with us is about to cancel the DTV...of course this is moot if my friend gets a job with comcast and hooks us up that way, but still...

and can you use a DVR with it?
