I love my Atomic 8.50 Beta Rides. Yup, that's a cheap ass midgrade women's boot. They are super soft and just barely stiff enough for me to not buckle them. Fun times. They were free, so I'm not going to complain. The liners are holy though, and I've only had them for a season.
i had surefoot stretch the forefoot of my 1080s because i had a broken toe that healed sideways makin it suuuuuper wide. Surefoot is the shit, they had my boots stretched in a day for like 20 bucks or somethin. id say unless they are 100% comfortable head over there, ull thank me later.
lol twintip13 too bad lange owns rossi huh, so pretty much the same thing, diff name :)
now the old man sits until the days when time stood still, the hours always seem to fade, but the memeories never will. All the love that you gave me, the dreams in the night. Now I just want to thank you, while the day's still light.

I'm on X-Wave 9.0s with Booster Straps, buckles painted black and all lines on the plastic painted black, just to be different.
Whoever said 'the one that fits best' is right though. Go to a good shop and try on every boot there if you have to, or at least one boot from each brand.
haha 'riding' dutch. you say it as if you have already :P

The only time i ever though they were a little too soft was when making huge gs arcs below wipe out/drop out chutes in choppy snow. but they were great boots all around. i skied 5 days in a row without shin bang. I was 5'9' and 120 pounds last season. You can find stiffer toungues for them too.
pro models. the 1080 boots are too soft if you want to rip. You've got way more control and feedback in the stiffer pro models and the still have the cork padding if you want to jump in the park. But fuck, were they ever expensive
I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day
I almost bought a pair of 1080s, but held back. I didnt want such a soft boot. I carve more than anything, but still jib, so I needed something a little more stiff. I bought a pair of Salomon X-Wave 8.0s, and they work perfectly for everything I do.
