Homebuilt skis?

I was just wondering about homemade skis.  Is it hard?  I know how to use tools and can do some woodworking.  Im pretty sure some people on here have done it so I'd like to hear how you did it, and see your creations.

yeah i actually just found that site.  I feel dizzy and probably won't read it til tomorrow.  But I'd like to hear from some people that have done this.

definately one of the hardest and most time consumer things i have partakin in. but thats my thing. plus u have to have all the righ tools along with building a press. then cutting the core then planing the core then putting edges on. lets just say its tough and i give mad props to anyone who can accomplish it with ease or at all

you have $10,000 bucks to spare? if so, you could make some skis!

it's a lot easier to have someone make custom skis for you than make em yourself. if you're really interested, check out wagner skis
