And for the guy who said La Nina = colder temps = more snow, you're an idiot. La Nina means different things in different climates. In the PNW it means more precip and slightly higher temps. A couple degrees at Whistler/Baker can make all the difference. We could have an epic year again this year or suffer through shitloads of rain. Last year this time Whistler was open, so was Baker, and all the local mountains around Vancouver. Now none of them are, and the locals have ZERO snow. Its because of the higher temps cause it sure as hell isn't because of the lack of precip

i cant decide to go or not... i have no pow skis, whistler is really expensive, i cant drive, but it could be another month till the local mtns open. is it worth it?
