Replying to Orgo help

Looking for some help with my Organic Chem assignment if anyone is in or has taken this class. I'm trying to create a step-by-step mechanism, we have done most of the common reaction mechanisms and this assignment is over SN1/SN2/E1/E2 reactions.

I have to show how to convert:

2-methyl-tetrahydrofuran (in HCL)---> 1-chloro-4-heptanol

The reactant is basically a THF ring (heptane, replace one CH2 group with an O) and a methyl at the 2 position. Any ideas?
