Today i hit a rail wrong, and about an inch of my edge underfoot ripped out. Im thinking the best thing to do would be to cut out maybe a foot or so of edge off, and appoxy some new edge back in, but im not sure. any suggestions on what to do?
You could cut the base thats hanging off, and fill it with marine epoxy or contact cement. If you want a good fix, most shops can replace the section of edge.
that happened to me two seasons ago. i cut the base that was hanging off and then put some epoxy down so water wouldn't get into the core. the skis are still holding up alright
