Welll i was using a push leaf blower for a few hours and im not going to lie im pretty dumb for grabbing the motor of it. well four hours later, the hands gone from fireing pain to bubbley and stingy

take lots of painkillers, that's the only advice i can give you.  at least your luckier than this kid i saw when i was working in the ER that broke his ulna and radius at a right angle.  that musta killed, and he was 13.

i  burnt my knee pretty badlyl. shit hurts. couldnt move it for ever really sucked thought i would nee thearapy to get movement back and shit but get the antibiotics the only time i got releif was putting that shit on other than that it just blows.Burnt kneethis is five days after the accident

yeah i know someone whos mom spilled a cup of coffee on her leg and her leg had like a soggy gray like 5 mm think piece of skin,all bubbly and stuff.so gross i hate burns

a kid i know was walkin up the stairs with a knife in his hand, slipped, the knife stuck into the ground and his hand slipped down the blade, cut his whole palm and like 2 fingers real bad



another kid i know pulled somthin that was near a kettle with boiling water which fell onto his body w/o any clothes on, the kid was 2.5....

you should just take extra strength advil and sell your pills. i dont know much about pain killers, but depending on what your taking, you can get between 15 and 80 dollars a pill.

I know a kid that had a hot iron dropped on his face/neck when he was an infant. It was completely by accident, his mom or himself moving around hit the chord and it pulled it off of the ironing board. Regardless, he has scars all up and down his neck/chin/cheek to this day, hes 20 now.

my friend's mom told him to take the water off the stove cuz it was boiling over or something. and he tried doing it while laying down on the couch. he ended up spilling the pot all over his body. his got some pretty gnarly marks

party time with pirate dressup theme + lots and lots of alcohol + open fire out the back.

one plastic sword got thrown into the fire.
a certain friend of mine decides to be smart and pull it out so it doesnt melt.
its already melted.
he gets melted plastic all over his wrist and the back of his hand.
burns so bad the chemist is like "err...you should probably go to a doctor"

a week later at valedictory, the principal manages to stab the folder hes handing said friend in under the scab thats formed, so it starts bleeding and dripping down said friends hand for all to see.

Omg that sucks. hope it heals half quick. IMHO leaf blowers are a big waste of time anyway. Its better for your lawn just to leave leaves there to rot.

it actually hurts it alot.  the coating of leaves kills off the tops of the blades of grass leaving just the roots.  in the spring, the variety weeds such as clover, crabgrass, etc.  have a larger amount of time before the grass grows taller and chokes the weeds.  im in the Pro Golf Management program at cambell this year and one of my classes is essentially grass care 101.

I thought that when leaves decomposed, the compound they created was highly acidic as well, which kills your grass. I'm not positive on that tho.

i know spruce and pine needles on the ground are acidic when the decompose. i guess leaves on deciduous trees would be too. I jus think its a watse of time to constantly workon manicuring your lawn and more env. friendly to just leave your lawn, and it looks difefrent from everyone elses perfectly manicured mowed grass, and have a post modern lawn.We were talking about this in visual culture class (art history) one day.

i got pretty damn plastered at my friends cabin, we needed light, so my friend empties the salt and pepper shakers, fills them with gasoline, and lights them. worked well until the glass cracked. then we had a gasoline soaked floor, the cabin was burning, he was trying to keep the beds from catching, i fell down trying to put out the fire using a broom....i dont know why. anyway, put my hand out to catch myself, i didnt. everything caught on fire, kicked down the door, stop, dropped and rolled. came back in with my broom and finished off the fire. 3rd degree burns on  the top of my hand with no feeling anymore, and my leg hair went away.

could have been alot worse, and i dont exactly thank god or whoever that got me through that enough. just burning my hand badly was by far one of the worst experiences i will ever go through. and recovering. gave me a new respect to people who have burned the majority of their body and make it through. dont think id be strong enough to make it. growing back skin, especially alot of layers, is horrible. scabs form, but then you use your hand alot, so they crack and bleed. eegh. its bad. and to think that i made it through that experience without anyone finding out the truth. intense. oh and afterwards, i had my hand in a mudpuddle cus it hurt, so we decide to clean it out. i put a washcloth in my mouth to bite on and had hydrogen peroxide poured on it. THAT, was pain.

so true. with me, falling in a fire, thank god i rolled out the way i did and only caught me new. makes you count you blessing you know, cuz fire realllly fucks your body up. and yah prolly my burn was the worst experience of my life

I did that a couple years ago, i needed some breakfast and it was located right above the stove and my mom was cooking bacon so the stovetop was really hot and i just put my hand on it and fucking burnt the shit out of it.  i feel bad for you bc it tok so long for that shit to get right again
