Only real ski pants I have worn are North Face, i don't know what they are called. They say Hyvent on them. They are pretty good, decent waterproofing and pretty durable, but cuffs are shredded from ski edges and rails. they are black. I would check out Avalaan, Aeryx, helly Hansen, Burton, 686, Orage as well those are the only brands I can think of at the moment.
theres a ton of companies out there. look for pants with good waterproofing (10k or better) and good breathability (10mm wouldnt hurt) then just feel how durable the material feels like its gonna be. higher the waterproofing, more than likely the longer theyre gonna stay waterproof.
i just got some slightly used orage pants and i must say they are sooo sick.. the material is very good, at least double as thick as any oakley pants iver ever felt. so i think im gunna have to go w/ orage on this one.
