What mountain has extreme steeps and good cruising runs?

So my family is planning to go on a ski vacation president's day weekend in late february.  I really want to go to a place like Jackson Hole or Whistler that is famous for crazy steep slopes, chutes, cliffs, etc.  However my mom is into long cruising groomed intermediate runs like vail has on the front of the mountain.  So I look to NS to suggest me a mountain that has crazy 'big mountain' skiing but also has some easier long groomed runs for my mom.  I've been to Squaw, Vail, and Whistler a lot so those are out of the way and in the past my family has not liked Aspen.  Thanks for the help and keep in mind that this will be during february.

you cant go wrong with whistler man. You will find what you like from The Peak Chair on Whistler to your family findind what they need all over blackcomb.  Blackcomd for sure has some stuff that your family would like off lower elevation chairs like wizard express or maybe even solar coaster.  check out the map but serious bro, you CANT go wrong with whis

kicking horse, b.c, ahaha sept ur mom would die there, theres like one groomed run down the whole mountain. but for steeps and a really chill vibe go there. Or panorama, not crazy backcounrty, but still pretty amazing, and great diversity with groomers and such

maybe Telluride i don't know i haven't even skied there but i have looked at their map. I know this isn't much help.

and why is that

solitude is great because no lines and it is way steep, or nice and easy groomers

snowbird is just simply amazing.  just open your eyes a little bit.

Mammoth for sure. I grew up there, it's got lots of steep and cruisers. It's a little harder to get to though.

i would actually suggest moonlight basin. they have the headwaters, which is a whole series of gnarly looking chutes, and the north summit snow field, from the peak.  but they also have lots of long fun cruisers. and they should have plenty of snow by then.

SNOWBIRD for extreme steeps.

Park City has really good cruisers, actually, though it's mostly recognized for the parks. Limited steeps. Awesome town to play in after a hard day of skiing.

id go to jackcon. i had the same situation last year with my mom and we went to jackson so my brother and i hit the steep shit and my parents went on easier stuff. it has stuff for everyone. and if you have younger siblings they have a really good ski school. and feb would be a good time to go to jackson

So whistler is out of the question? It's seriously one of the most versatile resorts (not to mention largest in NA).
Tahoe is a good bet since there are a bunch of resorts within an hour or so of eachother.

the snow is jackson in feb is sick but jackson hole has good crusiers at lower elevation and steeper at higher but u could alos hit grand targhee in idho(its only 30-1hr from jackson) which has great bakcountry acess(jamier piere cliff and well as mary's nipple) and has good cruiser

jackson hole is pretty intense... but i'd say Snowbird or Deer Valley. Thats my favorite place to go with my family its way chill and supernice groomers.

For extreme steeps? I could see that one for cruising. Extreme steeps, not so much. Northstar's black runs are blues at most other resorts.

Kirkwood, Sugar Bowl, Alpine Meadows, they've got the steeps. I also like Heavenly, although it's not so good on the steep stuff, but for cruisers you can't go wrong.
I like Keystone, the variety is pretty nice. Breck is a bit on the flat side, but it's superbly groomed stuff.
Of course, all the other places people mentioned.

It rains a lot sometimes in February in Whistler (low elevation), not a safe bet. Plus some guy got shot there last year. Go to Jackson or Snowbird.
