I never liked skis mounted in the center. I never felt that I had control as much. But Im not sure of the true pros's and con's of this.

center makes spinning easier and balance on rails a touch easier. Skis are harder to control i think, i'm not sure of that though.
I always liked mine a few cm's behind center, like a 60-40 or 55-45

yeah I here the new Trouble Makers mount there bindings closer to the center , which kinda sucks. Does anyone know how they ride.

You get used to it and after a few hours you wont even notice anymore. Plus you can get slightly longer skis in order to have the same amount of ski in front of you if you want to ride more all-mountain stuff.

bad for all mt. but might I suggest that you get a fat twin like pr's LBF's MO-ships ect. they are more center mounted and the fatness makes up for the lack of ski in front of the binding, also get a longer ski.
