Has anyone here bent the px12 to fit a waist this wide? This is my first year skiing (i board) and I retardedly thought the bindings would fit because they were the reccomended bindings from dynastar. I already searched, but no one had an experience bending over 88 mm waists.

i know that, i probably will but my area is opening saturday. So i need a ghetto fix before then. One of my friends works a at a ski store and he said the only real problem would be the brakes dragging on tight turns if i did that, but he had never done it to skis that fat.

if u bend brakes it doesnt make a difference. the only use is so wen u pop out of the ski they come down and go into the snow to stop them from sliding down the hill. aslong as u dont break them and they go release so they're under the base, ur fine

ok cool. I dont have access to a welder, but would a blow torch work to heat them up enough to bend?
