Now i know there have bben multiple threads on this before but i cant seem to find what im looking for.  I'm about 5'-9" 140 lbs.  Im looking at getting some 06/07 chronics but i cant decide between the 172's or the 177's.  I plan on skiing all-mountain as well as park so I dont plan on center mounting them.  I've raced in the past so control is not a problem.  What are your thoughts?

well i dont have much pow by me so mostly groomers or un groomed but by now means a powder run.

I'd say 177 as well, i'm about the exact same as you, with the bridges in 177, and i love'em.

i think the 177's would give me better stabilty at higher speeds

hey it seems like u know ur skis hights and stuff.
i just bought 171 2006-07 ar6s and yet need buy bindings, but when i do i dont know where to mount them.  this year ill be skiing a lot of park and mostly groomer all mountain cuz i ski in PA.  im going out west 2 or 3 times for like 5 days each if that makes much of a difference and will be skiing some pow if i can.

and if u know what a good pair of bindings are good for ar6s that would be great. i heard px12 jibs but i think those are heavy, i also heard axis rossi i think.

im 5`7 i ski 171 and i would like a bit longer so 177 at 5`9 will be good for you
