Virus?

I've gotten 3 emails from Microsft recently, all saying they same thing. It says to use the patch on IE to prevent getting a virus. It's from security@microsoft.com, but I'm still not going to do it. I was still dumb/curious enough to open the email though (but not the attachment that came with it). Anyone know anything about this?

it's a hoax. microsoft says right on their site that they never send emails out like that.

but updating your OS is a good idea, prevents the fucking blaster worm from hitting you up.

go to microsoft.com and then go to update..... very good thing to do...

it might be a prank. i went to this website that you can send emails from any e-mail address. an example is microsoft.

I had an intestinal virus that I had to go to the hospital for about a month ago... I got grounded from driving because of it, too.

On microsoft's websight, it says they never send e-mails so it probably is a virus.

i got the blaster worm, fixed it but yeah don't open an email with anything like that and update you're os it helps i did that
