So if you've been following the RIA news, you'll know they are going to offer amnesty to file sharers. DON'T DO IT!
Simplified, this is what it is.
You send them a signed, notorized confession (giving it basis to be used in court) with some other random info and a picture id. IF you are not already marked as a file sharer, you will not be sued BY THEM. However, if you are already marked, you've just admited you share files and are fucked. If not, you can stil be sewed by 30 + companies that are associated with the RIAA but no included in the amnesty.
All in all, the idea is horrible and sounds like entrapment to me.
