So im looking for a new park/all mountain/Pow/big moutain ski. I love width in a ski so Im looking at these right now. Im leaning more towards the elizabeth's more because extra width and more flex which I like.I ski Prob 50/50 park to pow. Are the elizabeth's going to be to wide to ski Park on a regular basis?
PS im 6'1 180
Thanks for the help

if big mtn means the same to you as it does for me, someone who is 6'1" and 180 should have a longer ski than 172 (lizzies). I'm about the same size and i'd say you can't really go below 180 really.
here's a list for ya:
(they're all about the same width give or take, stiffest to softest)
187 4frnt msp
183 mvmt gladiator
185 volkl bridge
186 dynastar big trouble
183 atomic pimp
185 rossi brigade/bc
186 fischer misfit
185 nordica enforcer
182 salomon gun
185 armada arv
these are all pretty foolproof options and if you're really concerned about them being too long, mount closer to centre- you can then remount when you realise longer=better! you'll just have to narrow it down based on your prefernce stiff/soft and test em if you can to see which you like best.
i wouldn't go any skinnier than those i listed above, but if you felt like going wider...
(again, stiff to soft)
183 volkl gotama
186 rossi steeze
182 4frnt vct
188 jp/julien
181 scott p4
182 line sfbacon
i know thats a long list, but you need to figure out more clearly what you want out of the ski, then more precise recommendations can be given.

oops dunno why i put 183 gotama twice!
i missed the bit where you said you like more flex. in that case:
185 arv
182 gun
179 live life 2
181 p4
182 bacon
you'd love any of these- top of the list for more park, bottom for more pow. head or tails? call it and buy...

I am Thinking that yea 172 is too short. If I get something wide would it handle rails ok?. Im keeping my PE's as rail/park skis but if I want to take some laps though the park as well as ski pow I want a ski that can not feel to awkward in the park and on rails.

I'm the same height and weight as you, the list that Rasta posted is a good one. On the fatter side I've had or still have the P4, VCT, Goat and BC. The P4 was too short for me, the VCT is on the edge of being short... just enough though and the Goat and BC were fine. The 172 lizzies I believe would be way too short for a big mountain ski.

wider skis are fine on rails, just a bit heavier, its just preference: andreas uses bcs/brigades for rails a lot of the time, so they can work for sure...

i am the exact same size as you are and i am also considering a 50/50
park/pow/all mountain ski with some width...i was thinking 95-100 in
the waist and have been considering the following:
179/186 line prophet 100/karhu 100
179 k2 seth
178/185 rossi scratch brigade
185 armada arv
181 salomon gun

you should get sfbacons if you like softer skis, plus they are hella good in the park especially for wide skis
All times are Eastern (-5)
