if u try a lincoln i can almost garuntee you that you will spin and die.. try a backflip, look your head as far as you can back, and when you see the landing just bring it around

a lincoln loop is like a side ways flip. like a cartwheel facing forward if that makes any sense

I've tried all 3, landed the lincoln and backflip. Backflip is wayyyy easier, with lincoln it's super hard not to spin and go into a rodeo type flip.

I can hit a front flip on dry ground if I have something at least 3ft to jump from so i'll be trying them on snow for the first time this year. Back flips sketch me out for some reason its the whole going backwards thing.

really? I love to do them on diving boards and tramps. I just have to take them to the slopes too.
Fronts are more difficult because you don't see your landing until you untuck and you have to time it if you want to be steeze-like.

Fronts can be done of anything, I did one off the handrail set up at Abasin first day out. Back you can spot your landings, and Lincoln loops you see your landing the whole time if you do it right. practice in pow unless you like ur neck broken, then they are all cake from their out

i did a back last year, but i haven't mastered them yet. fronts i was too scared of cuz you can't spot til the end. but i can do licolns easier than backs on the tramp and diving board so im gonna try it, they seem pretty easy.

Backflips are easy, the 1st one's always scary though. If you balls up and do it, I guarantee you'll land it within 5 tries. One of the easiest tricks to do once mastered.
Frontflips are harder, not because of the rotation, but because your blind for most of the trick. You'll get it if you give it enough tries, remember to pop off your jump so you don't go headfirst into your own lip.
Lincoln loops are tougher, because like posted above, you usually end up spinning and dying. Practice them on trampolines first so you can know how to throw it, and what it feels like. Same thing as on a tramp, just slower rotation, and with more weight on your feet.

I did lincolns way before I did 360s they're so easy to do. At least if you doing them right, cause you can do'em in two different ways: First way is just like a sideflip, only rotation to the side. Which may cause you to come up short on the jump because you dont get any pop, just sidewards rotation. The other way is what I think is a proper lincoln, you start it off like a sideflip and land it like a backflip. it's like a mix of both of them.

Try them on a trampoline or something like that first. Do the one that feels most comfortable. People naturally flip different ways. (Same things with spins and flips. Some people flip naturally, some spin naturally.) I did fronts, then backs, then lincolns. Now backs are the easiest, and they were probably the easiest to learn. Do which ever feels most comfortable and is most suitable for the jump. For instance, if a jump isn't very poppy, a front is probably a better choice than a back. Poppy jump, do a back or lincoln.

thats funny, in vail 2 years ago my cousin and i built a big kicker in the one bowl. it begins with an m and is like furthest over. anyways he was throwin backs and lincolns, i was just throwin 7s and stuff. anyways i was too afraid to do a backflip and landed a lincoln my 3rd try with my other 2 being really close...then i smashed my face off my knee and we had to go in...

I found backs the easiest. But fronts were less scary the first 10 times.

Start with a backflip or lincoln. I know people that have learned backflips before they even learned a 360.

Backflips are the easiest because the jump want to throw you back anyway, but if you're new to flipping, lincolns aren't as scary to start because you are still moving forward, and for some reason, i found lincolns a natural progression from corks, so i have to say lincoln loops. Save front flips for later.

lincolns for me always go goofy. i take off and uncontrolably go into a 90 degree left turn, backflip, 90 degree right turn... it looks sick though.

i can never get straight when i try lincoln loops... there is always a 180 added in there so it looks like a rodeo kinda.

Backflips... they're so simple, and really easy to do. Just get comfortable with them on tramps and youll be able to land one.

No way, especially off a jump with a bit more kick, frontflip is so unnatural. It's hard to get a good flip in. Backflips are definately way easier. If you're gonna go lincoln remember to pick a point somewhere ahead of you and look at it during the whole flip.

i can do backlips frontsflips ad lincoln loops on a trampoline and ive tried standing backflips so do u get more time to do a backflip on a tramp or of a jumpÂ

backflips feel the same way on skis then they do on the tramp

Depends on the jump. Also depends on how you throw them. However, if you choose a jump that has decent pop, you'll probably find it fairly similar. However, your first few will feel really odd because you are traveling forward. It's easy to be disoriented. If you remember the basics you use to do them on the tramp, you'll do fine...Just be sure and commit.
