I've got look px12 ti bindings, all my friends have pivot 12 bindings. They claim the p12 is better for jumping, spinning, and landing and that they save your knees. My question is are my px12s as good for park skiing?
I would say better. When i rode pivot i notice that they would sometimes pivot to the side if i landed still spinning, but don't have that problem with the PX.
That isn't true...the reason they switched to the PX was to streamline production...one mold for that whole line of bindings makes more sense as far as production costs go.
nice, thanks a lot. I was going crazy looking for the pivots, and i think they stopped making them. With good reason I guess. I just thought it looked like they really would be better for spinning because of the pivot.
Well, I'm just saying..that's the obvious answer...and they didn't stop making pivots 'with good reason'...they are still a very celebrated and sought after binding, along with the turntable heel...
depends...it's mostly your riding style and personal preference...I like pivots. They are the whole reason I started riding Look/Rossi bindings, I've ridden the PX and it's...eh. I didn't really like them, but they aren't really any worse than say an s912 or something...but the pivot is still better than both in my opinion.
