Where is the recommended mounting point for dumonts in comparison to the ski. If i wanted to mount my skis TRUE CENtER (more forward is ok), would i go in front of the line or behind the line?
i think there is a center mounting point. i have heard there is a forward mounting point like +2cm dead center wich is where dumont rides... not 100% sure though
Anyone know where the dumont stance is. hey claims he wanted a stance more forward than centermount but im not sure if his recommended stance actually is.
So if i were to go into a shop today and have them mount at the small like carvedby the simon stance the skis would come out mounted just in front of Actual True Center... cuz thats what im looking for!! But just want to clarify its in front of true and not just core.
That is my understanding...core center is a myth, the only skis that have a core center mark is K2, no other company measures core center. You could always just take a tape measure and go from Simon's line to the tail, and then to the tip just to double check.
