Replying to Snow on the mountains in AUGUST?????

Hey I'm here in southern Colorado and this years great record is having the first snow on the mountains this year in August. Yes, August 29th recorded snowfall on Monarch pass, and the national weather service is expecting significant snowfall within the next week on most of the southern mountains in Colorado ,, I dunno what that means for the Summit county people, but Let's just hope it works out for them too...
