In-ear headphones

Ok here's me, a low-tech man in a high-tech world and I need the wisdom of some of you kids about in-ear headphones. Most important is ofcourse the quality of sound, they should have a natural sound which also plays out the bass very good. Noise cancelation is a plus but not neccesary.
I've narrowed my search down to these 4, price doesn't mather to much. I'm just interested which one will be best (for skiing).
1) BOSE In-Ear headphones (they only have 1 model)
2) Sennheiser CX300
3) JBL Reference 220
4) AKG K 324 P

id recomend skull candy, they arent that expensive and have really good bass and noise cancelation. They are also covered under a warrenty, no matter what you do to em, they will give your replacement pair for half price.

sennheiser. all day long. i have them, and i am a connoisseur of in ear headphones. i had the skullcandy (looks great but essentially flawed in terms of fit and sound), the apple ones (good but the fit isnt all that) the sony ones, the second best i had (unbeatable sound, but cheap rubber on the wire combined with snow = rotting headphones). i also had some phillips ones which were striaght up shit. the sennheiser look, sound and feel great. sure they are pretty expensive, but you wont have to buy any more headphones. by the time they stop working, we will be listening to music intraveinously! oh, they come with an unrivalled warranty too.

sorry I got carried away, the molds are going to run you about $140 plus what ever model of drivers you will use , you can spend anywhere from $300 to $700, but I re-read your post and it is for skiing not purely rocking out as a musician, sorry. but they still sound great, although you will not be able to hear much of what is going around as you ski.

So I was leaning towards the Sennheisers but couldn't get them in the colour I wanted them so I bought a pair of V-Moda Vibe's in Red Roxx.
Reviews are the newest production models are better then the earlier, got a real strong bass but less clear sound then some other high-end ones. The design actually was a deciding factor to:

Have you guys ever used in ear headphones?

If you have and you dig it, then nevermind what i'm saying, but I HATE those things. Seems like such a good idea, awesome sound quality, no shit to carry around...but THEY NEVER STAY IN YOUR EARS!!! Especially if you're skiing. Fuck that.

Never owned pair, did use them a few times. Don't mind those things at all, and these come with 8 sleeves you can change for a good fit, so I'm not to worried about that... unless you see them FS on here by the end of the week I'm happy with them haha

Maybe its the shape of your ear? I always found the headphones that come standard with I-Pods DONT stay in my ears. I also like the in-ear phones because you dont need your music as loud, they sort of act like earplugs.

yeah but this guy doesnt seem interested in scullcandys. i have some skullcandys and they have killer sound quality best ive ever worn. def quality beyond the price. plus they have a mute button so when ur skiing and wanna talk to someone u can mute ur music...look into em. it was save u money and ull be amazed

yeah the skull candy FULL METAL JACKET in ears are dope.. they come with 3 different size adapters too for big and small ears!
