i mean, they are near identical! - if you put an oakley strap on the giros, they would easily be mistaken for crowbars

POC also pioneered the rimless lobes goggles, which was then copied by Smith with the "new" I / O goggle system. look em up. you'll see.

It's possible that they purchased a license from Oakley to produce the same goggle under a different brand.  I know this used to happen often in the auto industry (i.e. nissan quest and mercury villager) so no reason they couldn't do it in the goggle industry.  Seeing as Giro doesn't have experience with goggles and lens technology, I would say this strategy would be smart to implement.

they are similar looking, but thats mostly due to giro going with the outrigger design. take that off of the crowbars too, and they'll look like most other goggles. not much variety and goggs

to me though, its like scott witness Click for larger image + outriggers = giros

and i agree, crowbars look better.

i came up with a theory. giro relized how well the crowbar went with there helmets. concluding in makeing a very simular design to fit there helmets it makes sence

sense*, sry man had to do it, i have ocd like that. and yeah it does make sense but be a little less obvious about it seriously, its so rediculous

its kinda like kids going out and buying the ronin suit tad walnuts used this year because they saw how he blew up so big and by doing so, they too would get better as well.

It's not exactly like Oakley invented that system for goggles, though.  Smith did it with the Triad years ago.

Maybe Oakley allowed them to use the design and makes them for them. I know that Oakley makes FOX goggles for biking, but they still have fox on them. They sort of looking like the biking crowbars too, so this may be the same thing?
