i have just come to a realization. one that i am sure we all know and embrace deep down, but may be afraid to admit to. i have not been on the site much this summer... maybe a handfull of times, and now in the last few days, i have been back browsing around. this sudden change interestingly enough coincides with all my friends leaving to go back to school, leaving me more or less friendless. i am not saying anything about anyone else here, just that i see that time spent on NS and freindlessness seems to go together... like a wink and a smile...

no, i am on ns more when my friends are gone... so it is not responsible for me loosing any friends... its just what i resort to instead of making new friends....and in response to the retort that learning about skis on the site has increased your populariy among your ski friends... you dont rack up 2k posts about skiing... suffice it to say that i have learned more about 'who is the hottest girl on ns' and 'whats your favorite rap song' and insipid crap like that than i have about skiing during my almost 2 yrs here. i do like the videos and pics though... im not trying to be a ns hater... obviosly i like it to the tune of 900 or so posts...

I was born with a gigantic left ear, well not gigantic, but big enough that if you saw me in the subway you'd probably elbow your friend and be like 'haha, look at that freak' and I would probably hear you cause my hearing is better than yours, unless of course, you too have a large ear, then you'd probably know to keep it down. However, I've had trouble making friends growing up cause of my problem, whereas on NS I can talk to people and they don't judge me on my ear..... Thanks guys.... I'm a lifer!

you dooo learn about skis though on the other half of my posts...plus I've gotten into deep deep conversations about goats and skis without ADDING to my post count. I definately know more about the entire newschool scene than I did before I came here.

sorry lane... had to. oh ya and about skiing, not too many people read freeze and sbc skier etc etc and there aren't any other sites like this one. this is THE ski site. of course we learn a lot about skiing. and some people are of friendly nature, so naturally since they are used to making and having a lot of friends it doesn't hurt to make more inside the community of the sport you love.

the people on ns don't judge me like my friends do. just kidding, but couldn't you imagine some little loser kid saying that on a commercial advertising this site? All my friends are basically moving away, but I only come on here at night time or when I'm doing homework and I want something else to do so I don't die of boredom.
