Skis Need better bases

Rome has hustlin across the bottom of one of their boards, ninthward or armada or line need to have words like Ballin or get money or Cook dat shit up on the bases.

takes one to know one. but i think ski bases are fine the way they are. i like the simple black and white bases that say like companies name or something. better than the old legends cow print. thats for sure

well first off...as the guy above me said the good baess should be the fast ones and even if there was sick designs, most of the time u woudnt c them so it woudnt matter and half of the kids here anyway who dont wax there skis and shit and dont take care of them would fuck them up anyway

the only thing on bases that needs to change is so that you dont have to do any maintenence. We can send a go kart to mars, but we cant make waxless bases that are fast and protective?

I have a pair of skis that says Pimp across the bases, does that qualify?  But uhhhh...yeah.  I prefer straight black race bases, personally.  It doesn't matter what the bottoms of my skis look like when I'm way ahead of you.

I prefer simple bases...

My problem with stuff like this is the image that it projects. I find Rome's "image" self-destructive to the industry as a whole. Im all for marketing a brand based on image, underage drinking, and the occasional drug use but do you really need to promote it like Rome does? Ultimately I think shit like this will lead to bad things for the snowboard industry. Who's going to continue to build the industry in the future? A bunch of wasted retards with leather jackets getting creative? Doubt it.

I think it would be awsome if there was a company that before you ordered there skis you could tell them what you wanted the bases to say.But bases right now are fine.

hmm i dont really see rome as a company to pick out for making that image. look at technine or something, half of their footy is them smoking weed. but bad ass sells if u wanna be a bad ass snowboarder, and i think romes image is better than some mega companies who are pushing snowboarding into little boxes and onto store shelves. btw any means is a great vid, its fun
