Where in vt?

3 friends and I are looking to plan a ski trip in mid december/early janaury (college break). We're looking to bring a lot of bud and just have a good time. So the question is: does anyone know where the cheapest but decent hotel within like 20 minutes of the ski hill. It could be killington, stratton, etc. Doesn't really matter where...just any tips, thanks

Look into hiker's hostels, there's one on the way to Stowe I believe.

No, but it sounds pretty awesome if you can get your own cabin with like 5+ people.

I'd say gather as many friends as possible and pack a single cabin. This has resulted in some of the greatest ski trips I have ever been on.

Well we did a slopeside cabin at Stowe and it was about 300-400 per day. We stayed for 3 days with about with ten people in one cabin. 1200 bucks / 10 people turned out to cost each of us about 120-150 for 3 days slopeside :)

yeah that sicks. there is only 4 of us so far but we've been talking about getting a cabin if we can find a cheap price

Me and 3 other friends did Killington in April of '06. 3 nights, 2 days skiing. Stayed at a Condo right there at Killington. the whole trip was like $200 per person including the lift tickets.
