i posted this vid a long while back of a party fight involving one Maurice Thomas (affectionately known as 'Mo') and some poor fool with a racist tongue. the thing is, i have learned that Mo, who I haven't seen for years, dropped out of college, got a little wrestling training and know competes in a little local mixed martial arts, or UFC style fighting league in northern cali and the bay area. i'll try to see if my buddy who told me about this has any footy of him from lately.
so, he obviously seems like he would be more of the brawler type than what you could call refined, but who knows now. do you think that the competitive fighters out there that start out as guys with a chip on their shoulder and a hot temper turn out to be better or worse usually than the ones who were trained martial artists, boxers, and wrestlers that may not have quite the same killer instinct?
(chuck norris jokes are welcome...they could make or break this thread)
