youre best bet would be those little white plastic skis every little skier that starts at one years old uses. dont do down hill skiing right away either. thats waaayyy to dangerous for a one year old. start them off on flat ground so they get used to having to use somethign other than their feet to move around and how to manipulate what they have to get them places. and dont start in anything deep. go out in your front yard pack down the snow with a sled and put the things on his or her feet and make her move.
She needs 70's at most for her size. The cheapest pair that I've been able to find are Head, and they're $80. Way to expensive for her starting out on. I was trying to find one of those little things you use on their skis to connect them at the tips, so they can only go pizza. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Or where I can find them. I already bought her a pass for Spirit that was only $5.
You definitely don't need poles...but this stuff is great for never-ever's because you don't wanna spend a ton of money for stuff that your child will out grow in a year. Good luck!
Shes probably so small she wouldn't even be on the DIN chart. But I guess it wouldn't matter because she wouldn't be doing any agressive shit. I think they say the earliest age you should get kid on skis is 3 or 4, depending on how big they are.
yea those things are called edgy wedgies i bought some for when i teach, you can just google it an they have a web site. but truthfully a 1 year old skiing is cute but i would wait as far as taking him/her to spirit or if your going to stay on uber flats
Well I'm not going to push her down one of the hills. I've never been to Spirit so I don't know what the kiddie park is like. I don't even know if she'd want to keep the skis on, she'll probably just try to rip them off.
