So I just finished watching and all I can say is wow.
Editing - the editing is pretty random. lots of happy cuts with random shit and cool colour correction thrown in. a bit tighter than Y/N/M. I really enjoyed the flow of it too...snowboard - skate - ski with spirit team in between. it broke it up nicely.
music - different than most ski movies. nothing thats super pump up, but not nearly as mellow as Idea. lots of faster tempo instrumentals etc etc.
finally, the athletes/riding.
the snowboarders were sick and creative. i really loved the mini shred segment of Y/N/M and unfortunatly they didn't bring it back, but they did have some sick sessions at a playground. BC shit was nuts, 3, pillow, 180 that was in the trailer is prime.
skating: broke it up a bunch, again, Jan kills it. lots of Creekside underground park and theres a bunch of pretty creative stuff from Jan and friends
skiing: Bibby. thats all i have to say. (well not really). so many creative hits. 180 through tree, butters on hellbents. yeah! turpin has a short but sweet segment, along with margetts. Joe Shoo has a great segment but lots of stuff we've seen in PNW (or similair).
In conclusion, super awesome happy movie. if youre really into Eye-of-the-tiger style pump up movies, maybe not for you, but it got me stoked to go shred with my friends, do some butters and have alot of fun.
