How do boots affect my skiing

last year was my first year skiing and I had some bad handdown boots. like goodwill bum shoe boots. They were way too small for my feet and I had to contort my toes like a cockroach to put them on.
I always felt off balance and would have to roll down the windows when Id get more than 1 sec of airtime. Were my boots holding me back as a skier or am I just badd? Will better boots make me a better skier faster? or am I better off just getting a cheap pair until I'm intermediate.

To me boots are the most important part of skiing. A good pair of boots can be the difference between excelling or not and most importantly being comfortable and having fun. Boots are worth it.

yo dont be talkin shit on dem boots... you didnt think id read this did you? well i guess technically you did get them from a_bum, so there is some truth there. but yeah buy new boots... go to free flight and get fitted, they have some good ones there. give me those boots back to cuz i might know another kid that i can hand them down to.
