Replying to Oakley Distractions jacket vs. Evolution jacket
So get a massive O discount this year and I narrowed it down to one of the following setups:

Probably going with the distraction, but here's the pros n cons:
Avalanche jacket: 3 in 1 compatible so I can zip in their down jacket, which makes the thing extremely warm. My beef with it is it has no wrist gaiters, something which I have liked a lot in previous jackets i've had. Had a chance to fondle this one in my store and really liked it, just wanted some damn gaiters! Plus the color options are very limited.
Distractions: Killer colors available, seems like a very well taped/waterproofed shell. Anyone seen this thing? Is it 3 in 1 compatible? What's the insulation like? I know it's that thermaloft stuff but is it thick/throughout the jacket, or just in certain parts of it like other models? Basically I just want to hear from someone who has touched it why it is priced the way it is vs. other oakley shells.
I've been skiing with a puffy for years now and loved it, but I think it's time to transfer back to a shell again. The avalanche would be a nice transition, but the distractions looks cooler and seems a bit more functional.
PS I will probably be getting most if not all of those goggles. Bwahahahaha!
Thanks to everyone who does not deuche up my post with "waah why does everyone want oakley" posts. peaceÂ
